
IU Food Technology Student Excellently Win First Prize “YASFA – YOUNG ACHIEVERS’ SAFE FOOD AWARDS 2022”
Congratulations to 3CE Healthy Team consisting of IUFT students who excellently won the first prize “YASFA – Young Achievers’ Safe Food Awards” contest taking place on 12/10/2022.
YASFA – Young Achievers’ Safe Food Awards is a competition for university students majoring in Food Technology, co-founded by the Vietnam Association for Food Science & Technology (VAFoST) and Informa company Markets (formerly UBM) – the organizer of the International Exhibition of Food Ingredients and Additives Fi Vietnam. The award was first held in 2014 and has gone through four seasons with great success, providing the teams with a rewarding playground and real-world exposure to the Food Industry.
The product that IUFT brought to the contest was “MOCAGO oil-based Granola”. MOCAGO (short for Moon-cake granola) granola with pure Vietnamese seeds and dried fruit is a nutritious, convenient, environmentally friendly snack product that is suitable for a vegetarian diet. healthy. At the same time, MOCAGO aims to limit food waste in food production, while increasing the economic value of raw peanut products.
